Hi Jen. The reason you are now a "public figure" is because you were in The Hills and made a brief appearance on Laguna Beach. Hey Ya’ll (I’m in Texas, visiting my boyfriend),

I am going to try and answer a bunch of questions tonight…I’ve been gone for the past 14 days which is why I have been a bit slow in answering ?’s and doing anything at all pretty much. I can’t make a YouTube video because I completely lost my voice last night in Austin, TX. Like I can hardly whisper…ha but I can type!!!! so just wanted to let you guys know because I have heard that a lot of you check my blog a lot so I just wanted to let you know why I’ve been a bit MIA.

I LOVE reading your stuff. You are so inspiring. I read your post about high school and how you stressed a lot and that's exactly how I was. Girls were so freaking crazy!!! Anyways, I just wanted to write you and let you know that I love checking your Tumblr and think it's awesome you give advice. I'm moving to Cali here soon. Any advice about ANYTHING at all?

Thanks, but there were some other smart people on those shows as well. And actually a lot of those girls are super smart in their own way. They are very creative and artistic I just happen to be more into Math and Science, as opposed to fashion and designing. But, I was in a bunch of classes at USC with Whitney and she’s super intelligent, as is Lo.

Could you do a "10 things you don't know about me that you would be surprised to know" list! I think those are always very interesting!!

Hey, I was just wondering whether u count calories or like to stick to a certain amount each day? Ive heard one should eat 2,000 but then again ive heard 1,500?

I only calorie count when I’m on a really strict diet. In generally I just a variety of food, but small amounts in moderation…that key is just to mix it up so your body doesn’t get used to one type of food, make sure to get your nutrients, eat whatever you PLEASE (including carbs)—but in moderation and non-processed. Anything with preservatives is probably not the best, go for food that is fresh, but then eat whatever. I try to limit cheese, but its my favorite so I will definitely eat it when I feel like it.

thanks for that video, it's cool to see what you do :) would also love to watch your vlogs if you could record bits and pieces of your every day life... i think that would be interesting

Ya thats a good point. I’ll definitely make one of those. Its just that I’m not the best at video editing…yet..i’ll learn. so my videos are pretty rudimentary..but I will for sure work on it.

haha sure..my favorite pasta is this:

In a pan put sliced tomatoes, onions, garlic, basil, pine nuts and olive oil (spinach is optional). Also add a dash of Cayenne pepper, sea salt, pepper. Cook until garlic is soft.

Then boil salt water, for pasta you can use large pasta shells, or linguine. Only boil until 1 minute BEFORE —AL DENTE. For linguine thats like 5-6 minutes, longer for the big pasta shells. Drain water and put in the pan with the rest of the mix for about a minute until pasta is al dente. (Put a little bit of boiled water in the pan with the vegetable mixture, to help add flavor and continue to cook pasta)plate and put Buratta cheese on top, if you don’t have Buratta, melt mozzarella cheese, and sprinkle whole dish with flakes of sea salt.If you are using the big pasta shells stuff with mixture and spring cheese on top. Feel free to also add crushed red pepper its SOOOO good!!!

Here’s another one of my favorites:

onions, olives (green), capers, tomatoes, olive oil, spinach. Add Al Dente pasta. spring with parmesan flakes.

Also I make the best French Toast, Fresh Summer Soup, Home-made pizza and tons of other stuff :) feel free to ask! If you make it let me know how you like it.

Yes yes! his name is taylor and he’s finishing his fourth year of medical school in Texas…we are hoping for him to get a California residency so he can move out to be with me :) if not I will move wherever he gets in.

I'm a guy, but I think you're pretty awesome! MTV definitely portrayed you as something else other than being smart and intelligent! I did watch Laguna Beach and The Hills. I'm a sophomore in high school, in Virginia! Yes, you have fans ALL the way from the East Coast! I read your tumblr a lot and it kind of inspires me. You seem so down to earth and that's awesome!
