I don't get how you can use an MBA in science? You are not qualified to do research with an MBA for example, hence you are not gonna be a scientist. I mean it is okay, but you always mention how you have a passion for medicine and science, but an MBA has absolutly nothing to do with those fields. Yeah sure you can work in the office of a company which produces medical stuff etc....but this is not really working in science...?

Well a few things,

1. I already was accepted to Medical School, I just decided to get my MBA first while I decide if I want to go and/or get my PhD as an alternative. I am also very seriously considering earning my MPH at the moment (masters in public health)

2. I have been heavily involved in medical research my entire life and have been involved in conducting over 8 major studies from everything from to depression to diabetes. I given 2 international presentations at leading conferences on this research and I published a scientific review paper on fast acting anti-depressants as a first author in a major scientific journal (you can look it up online if your interested).

3. I have my bachelors degree from USC in Neuroscience with a minor in natural sciences

—so that being said since I was born (my parents are both research scientists my dad has his M.D from Penn, and did his residency at Yale. My mom has her PhD in cognitive sciences from UCI) I have been ENTRENCHED in science and research and have an extensive science background with over 10 years of research experience, a bachelors degree in science, and I plan to further my education in the future. I also have had to take 2 semesters of physics, chemistry, biology, organic biology, biochemistry and molecular biology in order to apply to medical school, as well as do well on the MCAT, so I have a lot of scientific education.  The MBA just helps me expand my education so that I can understand more about the company I am going to be working for and hopefully be able to contribute more comprehensively.

Hope that answers your question.
